These incredible women juggle the demands of raising a family on their own or managing the challenges of a FIFO lifestyle while running a business. They show resilience, dedication, and strength, proving that no matter the circumstances, they can succeed and thrive. This award is our way of honoring their hard work, determination, and unwavering commitment to their families and businesses. We see you, we appreciate you, and we celebrate you.

This award is for any mum who is neurodiverse. Neurodivergent mothers encompass a range of diversity, including but not limited to Autism, Attention Deficit-Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), Dyslexia, and sensory processing differences. This award celebrates mums in business who have used their "spicy brain" to start their business and have not let it limit them.

These mums might not have given birth to the children they support, but that doesn’t mean they’re not mums. This award is for the stepmums, foster mums, and carers of children who are not their own. These very special mums are often overlooked, and this award is to honor them and let them know that we see them.

This award is for the mums who started their business after a huge change in their life. This could be after their children had flown the nest or following a divorce. It’s to celebrate the mum who understands that it’s never too late. At any stage, you can completely reinvent yourself or go all in on your dreams.

For too long, it has been seen as taboo to nominate yourself for an award. Well, I want to not just call bullshit on that but to encourage you to back YOURSELF. Sing your praises and nominate yourself for awards. That's what this award is for. I deserve it, and I'm not afraid to let you know that I think that.

This award is for the outlier, the mum who didn't take no for an answer. The mum who gave us someone to look up to and a hand to pull us up when we needed it. This mum doesn’t need to have cured cancer or be saving lives (though she absolutely can be), but she’s made a difference in your life. She makes you think anything is possible and shows you the way.

Our rural women face their own set of challenges that most of us know nothing about. From droughts to floods and harsh weather conditions, fluctuating food prices (both buying and selling), to trade, political, and export agreement changes, as well as raising a family and potentially growing their OWN business on top of the family business. It takes a special kind of woman to be a rural woman in business, and this award is our way of honoring you.

This award is for first-generation immigrant mums. Whether you moved here as a child or came to Australia later, these mums are proud of where they came from, deeply love the new country we call home, and are raising their children here.
